We distribute insurance products to the largest e-commerce sites globally via a B2B platform. Our first product to market, RentalCover.com has been an outstanding B2B and B2C success within the travel vertical. Following this success, we released XCover, a multi-line distribution platform for eCommerce partners.

We're on the lookout for serious Front-end skills to come and join our team here at Cover Genius. Cover Genius Fronties are beautiful UI creationists and JavaScript experts, are intelligent, highly motivated, welcome responsibility and love to tackle difficult problems. Be a key part in the look and feel of a product that's tackling a previously untackle-able industry.

How will your role look?

- Work with Product Managers and Designers to implement and design the next generation of products 

- Architect, build, and test new features

- Work with backend teams to help shape API endpoints 

- Work with UX teams to deliver important functionality to our flagship application

- Work with a small team of front end engineers to maintain excellent coding standards and practices

Ideally your background will be:

• Proven track record with Javascript, preferably React but also Vue.js, TypeScript, ES6 or other common JS frameworks
• Experience writing code for UI components
• Keen eye for design and a strong understanding of UX
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Familiarity with performance debugging and bench-marking
• Ideally, a desire to work with GraphQL and learn new technologies 
• Ideally, a Github page with contributions to open source software
• Ideally, a Tertiary Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or related)
